Hi, I’m Christy, the owner and creative heart behind Southeast Flower Company. For me, flowers have never been just about making something pretty. They’re about creating a feeling. They celebrate the best days, bring comfort on the hardest ones, say the things we sometimes can’t find the words for, and have this incredible ability to completely transform a room - or someone’s day. That’s what I love most about what I do. At Southeast Flower Company, I get to take beautiful flowers, a little creativity, and sometimes a slightly wild idea and turn them into something unforgettable. Whether I’m designing an everyday arrangement, creating florals for a wedding or event, or filling an entire space with flowers, I want every design that leaves my shop to feel intentional, abundant, and anything but ordinary. My style leans toward lush, romantic, garden-inspired designs with a little unexpected personality. I love color, texture, movement, and arrangements that feel alive rather than overly perfect. And while I take the quality of my work very seriously, I don’t believe the experience has to feel stuffy or intimidating. Flowers should be fun. Southeast Flower Company is also deeply personal to me. Building this business has meant taking chances, learning as I go, working ridiculously long days, dreaming bigger than I probably should, and creating something that genuinely feels like mine. Every order, event, and person who walks through our doors gets to be a small part of that story. When I’m not surrounded by flowers, I’m usually with my husband, Matt, and our son, Ryan, working on some overly ambitious project, traveling somewhere new, or finding another creative idea that I absolutely did not need to add to my list.
